Full-Time In-Person Rochester Hills, MI Embedded Clinical Research Site Clinical Research Coordinator (Entry Level) Reports to: CEO, Emerge Research Institute Compensation: $16–$23/hr · commensurate with experience and qualifications U.S. work authorization required. Visa sponsorship is not available. Overview Emerge is an embedded SMO running sponsor and CRO clinical trials inside physician practices across Metro Detroit. This is a hands-on training role supporting active studies across our therapeutic areas — you'll learn every stage of execution, from recruitment and informed consent through data entry, specimen handling, and monitoring visit prep, with the goal of running studies independently within 12–18 months. About you You're early in your career and hungry to learn. Organized, observant, and quick on your feet — you absorb new processes fast, ask sharp questions, and take initiative without waiting to be asked. You want a real foothold in clinical research, not a desk job. Duties & responsibilities Support senior CRCs and Principal Investigators across Emerge's embedded sites Assist with participant screening, enrollment, visit scheduling, and follow-up Maintain source documents, regulatory binders, and case report forms with precision Learn specimen collection, processing, and cold-chain handling (training provided) Prepare sites for sponsor monitoring visits and audits Enter and maintain data in EDC/eClinical platforms under supervision Track study supplies, equipment, and drug/device accountability logs Knowledge & experience Education Bachelor's degree in a health sciences field, life sciences, or equivalent clinical experience Experience Only 1 year prior CRC experience required — we will train you Any prior healthcare, clinical, or laboratory exposure (internship, medical assistant, pharmacy tech, scribe, lab) is a plus Required — candidates without this experience will not be considered.
