Rubenstein Law is committed to delivering exceptional client care while continuing to expand nationwide.The Litigation Paralegal plays a vital role in supporting attorneys through every stage of the litigation process- from initial investigation and discovery to trial preparation and post-trial proceedings. Key responsibilities include managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting and filing legal documents, and coordinating communication with clients, experts, and witnesses. This position requires excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal environment.Responsibilities and DutiesManaging a caseload from initial filing through trial and post-trialDraft and file legal documents and pleadings in State and Federal courtDraft and file discovery and manage discovery complianceCommunicate in a clear and concise manner with team members, clients, opposing counsel, judicial employees/clerk, and other legal professionalsCoordinate, schedule and calendar meetings, case related deadlines, notice hearings, depositions, and other litigation related proceedingsManage Attorney's calendar and assist with attorney travel arrangement when neededProvide excellent legal support to the team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAssist with trial preparation (trial binders, exhibits, redacting, etc.)Data entry in firm management system pertaining to case related mattersQualifications and SkillsMinimum 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm, preferably in a Personal Injury Law firm but not requiredExcellent client communications skillsStrong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail orientedAble to excel in a fast-paced work environment, take direction and work with little supervisionAble to manage a large caseload and comply with deadlinesKnowledge of State and Federal court statutes, rules, and proceduresFamiliar in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the ability to become proficient in firm technology programsFamiliar with legal terminology, court proceeding and drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal documentsFamiliar with court procedures, courtMap, JAWS and e-filing via e-portalBilingual (English/Spanish)BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO) plus 8 paid holidays a yearAdditional birthday holidayComprehensive benefits package including multiple medical plan options, dental, vision, disability, supplemental coverage, and company-paid life insuranceBereavement leave to support employees and their families during difficult timesHospital leave benefits for qualifying medical situations401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributionsBonus opportunitiesCommitment to employee wellness and long-term success
