Interacts with and influences management and/or customers on significant issues.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:This position typically relates to areas in WCM, Global Process & Change Management, Six Sigma programs or the design, deployment and support of various operational support applications such as Shop Floor Control Systems / Operating Models / Maintenance Management Systems / etc.Working within the area of Change Management, the responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following: Procures or adapts change management tools for use on Celestica projects and initiatives.Procures or develops education to support the use of the CM methodology.Provides CM knowledge transfer to Celestica internal consultants, Project leaders and sponsors.Provides guidance to project leaders and sponsors on effective change managment practices.Establishes and executes consulting agreements and measures with Celestica project sponsors and leaders.Promotes the use of change managment within Celestica.Knowledge/Skills/CompetenciesAdvanced knowledge in engineering, business, SCM, organization design, operational and quality processesExcellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge in appropriate industry standards such as ISO, TL, QS, BaldrigeStrong leadership skillsExcellent communication and analytical skillsStrong project management skillsKnowledge in database design, system architecture, business process re-engineering, change management, facilitation in a consensus environment and software engineering processesPhysical DemandsDuties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.Duties may require periodic sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelinesTypical ExperienceEight plus years of experienceTypical EducationBachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.Educational Requirements may vary by GeographyNotesThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
