A-Line Staffing is now hiring Radiation Therapist in Morristown, NJ 07960. The Radiation Therapist would be working for a Major NJ Healthcare System and has career growth potential. Radiation Therapist Highlights: Schedule: 8:00 AM ??? 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday Pay Range: $55-60 Hourly Radiation Therapist Responsibilities: Accurately deliver planned radiation therapy treatments while operating treatment units with minimal supervision Maintain visual and audible communication with patients during treatment procedures Perform daily linac and CT QA as well as monthly CT QA Perform IGRT, SBRT treatments, portal imaging, CBCT, and AlignRT procedures accurately CT/Simulate patients following department and site-specific protocols Construct immobilization devices, electron blocks, and cerrobend blocks as needed Utilize IV contrast, respiratory gating, and ACQ simulation techniques when required Train therapists in CT/Simulation procedures including SBRT simulation, respiratory gating, and QA functions Maintain and verify MOSAIQ treatment management records including schedules, prescriptions, DRRs, and portal imaging Verify physician and physics treatment planning parameters and attend chart rounds Safely operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and complete IGRT documentation in MOSAIQ Maintain accurate daily treatment records and document treatment plan changes appropriately Follow all department policies, radiation safety standards, and ALARA principles Report equipment malfunctions and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures Radiation Therapist Qualifications: Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy ARRT certified and registered Strongly preferred experience using IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and AlignRT Experience with MOSAIQ and radiation oncology workflows preferred If you are interested in this Radiation Therapist position, please apply to this posting with Luke H. at A-Line!aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
