Position: Psychiatric Physician West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry seek a Psychiatrist to practice at William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital in Weston, WV. Qualifications MD or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted) and eligible for state medical licensure. Completed psychiatry residency program and board certified/eligible in psychiatry. All qualifications met by the time of appointment. Duties Practice in the area of psychiatry, providing excellent patient care. Actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. Work with the dynamic forensic psychiatry program as needed. Hospital Overview William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital is a 200-bed, fully-accredited state psychiatric hospital that treats involuntarily committed adults and offers a forensic psychiatry program.
