Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: Weekend only schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) with variable call shifts

Highlights:

• Diverse surgical service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Epic charting system utilized
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused perioperative care
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Orientation hours provided based on contract length

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel assignment
• Required experience in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic surgical procedures
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of application
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must have experience with procedures including craniotomy, transplant surgeries, total joint replacements, spinal fusions, laparoscopic procedures, and general surgical cases
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date

Important Details:

• Time off requests must be finalized at time of application (maximum 7 days per contract)
• No holiday time off available during Thanksgiving week (November 23-29) or winter holidays (December 21-January 3)
• Floating within facility and to outpatient settings as needed within scope of practice
• All compliance items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Clinical screening required to determine fit prior to manager review
