Student Worker - Studio Equipment Monitor (NFWS)

Title: Marketing – Studio Equipment Monitor Job Description The Studio Equipment Monitor position provides support to the GCE Video/Photo teams through the scheduling, organization, and communication for video/photo production equipment. Employees will perform at the pace and efficiency of a commercial video/photo production rental house. *This job will have consistent set scheduled hours. No late nights or weekends. Responsibilities Maintain organization/ cleanliness of studio and workspace. Maintain basic cleanliness/functionality of equipment. Assemble reservation lists prior to a team member’s pick-up. Help oversee the check-out and check-in process of reservations. Readily assist occupants in the studio as needed. Assist in the flow of communication between production teams/ staff. Assist crews infield for on-campus location shoots. Alert fulltime staff to pressing/ urgent concerns regarding gear or studio space. Qualifications Detail oriented A desire to learn Problem solving skills Flexibility and adaptability Good judgment and professionalism when working with clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to self-motivate through slower work sessions Ability to work both independently and in groups Skills and experience with camera equipment is a bonus. Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
