Software Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Software Engineer.Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that extract, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from multiple enterprise sources into Oracle databases* Develop data processing frameworks and correlation models that enable risk analysis based on predefined business and security rules* Ensure data integrity, quality, performance, and reliability throughout the data lifecycle* Support application deployment, configuration, and production operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design reviews, testing, certification, and production implementation* Collaborate closely with business partners, architects, and engineering teams to translate evolving requirements into scalable and resilient solutions* Design for future growth by building highly available, resilient, and high-throughput data processing capabilities that can accommodate increasing data volumes and new business use cases* Leverage industry best practices for software engineering, data architecture, automation, and operational excellence* Troubleshoot issues to identify root cause, ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Java applicationsRequirements* 5+ years of experience in software engineering and data engineering* 5+ years of experience developing, and deploying spring-boot applications using a microservice architecture, containerization (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) and CI-CD pipelines* 5+ years of experience designing and developing robust and scalable RESTful APIs using best practices and security guidelines* Experience working with Information security Identity and Access Management (IAM) services is a plus* Strong technical leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to solve complex problems with a high degree of creativity and autonomyJob TypeContractCompensation55 - $60
