About The Role As the Commercial Service Account Manager you will pursue opportunities for service agreements, quick‑turn projects to keep customers operating effectively, and large opportunities that help customers modernize their equipment. This role is ideal for those who excel at building relationships, possess outstanding customer service skills, and thrive in cross‑functional teams. It is designed for individuals adept at assessing both immediate and future customer needs. Job Responsibilities Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (e.g., service agreements, repairs, and modernizations). Create and maintain sales territory and account plans where necessary. Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities. Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions. Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline. Attract new customers and build share value with existing customers. Seek out new service agreement opportunities with existing customers and new prospects. Respond to repair opportunities. Establish and build credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions. Develop and sustain strong customer relationships. Articulate the value of Carrier’s offerings and how they map to customer needs. Detect customer buying stage and adjust selling accordingly. Demonstrate effective presentation and communication skills. Prioritize best opportunities. Respond to customer requirements in a timely manner. Secure booking/orders promptly. Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets. Negotiate service agreement renewals when required. Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED. 3+ years of sales experience in a technical industry or 4+ years of Commercial HVAC technician experience. Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work comfortably on roofs/platforms. Preferred Qualifications HVAC sales or service sales experience. Ability to sell directly to end‑user customers. Prior experience selling service agreements. Ability to introduce cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within a customer base. Comfortable in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment. Proactive selling of preventative repair/upgrade packages. Self‑motivated and able to manage simultaneous projects and responsibilities. Experience using CRM software and Microsoft productivity tools. Outstanding sales/negotiation skills, goal‑oriented with strong time‑management and organizational skills. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Pay Range The annual salary for this position ranges from $79,000.00 to $158,000.00, based on skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
