Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule: - Shift: ROTATION - 12HR: 3P-3A / 7P-7A rotation - Weekend requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend

Assignment Details: - Contract Duration: 16 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements: - Active NY RN license - NIH and AHA BLS certifications - 2 years of recent experience - 2 years of U.S. work history required for non U.S. candidates - Experience with EMR systems (EPIC)

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and efficient patient management. - Participate in specialized geriatric emergency care and ensure adherence to established protocols. - Document patient information and care details accurately in the electronic medical record system. - Assist in the supervision and education of other nursing staff and students. - Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Compliance / Notes: - Must work at least one holiday per contract. - On-call shifts are not required but highly recommended and may be available. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
