Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment or system problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pump systems. Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, modification notices, and other resources to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Exhibit effective customer‑service skills by consistently communicating with district staff and customers to ensure complete satisfaction. Electronically complete service acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customers’ signatures. Perform other duties as assigned. What we look for 3+ years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler/suppression industry. RME‑I License. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals. Willingness to travel. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Physical capability to carry and move equipment and tools up to 70 lbs and to work in unusual or difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffold, high‑lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements. Demonstrated high level of customer service. Maintenance of truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs. Compliance with safety guidelines and procedures. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability. Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Retention of all licenses required by National, State, and Local codes. Preferred NICET Level II Backflow Certification. Compensation Hourly range: $30‑40, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
