Job Summary

Responsible for preparing patients for urological procedures; perform various catheterizations; instill medications; assist in surgery; take and develop X-rays; schedule surgical procedures; assist and instruct patients in care and maintenance of urological appliances; and maintain supplies and equipment.

Essential Functions

• Appointment & schedule management
• Daily room oversight
• Daily staffing assignment
• Compliance monitoring
• Leads and facilitates daily huddles
• Monitors staff competency and scope of practice
• Reports observed concerns
• Monitors policies, procedures, and compliance of diagnostic tests
• Includes follow up communication with patients

Qualifications

Education: High school Diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: Urology Experience 5-years required
