Registered Nurse - Pre/Post Op

Overview The Pre/Post Op Nurse provides care for patients before and after surgery. They prep IVs and recover in ambulatory surgery centers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in perioperative nursing and patient care, with experience in pre/post-op settings. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgery and monitor post-op recovery. Administer medicationsand monitor vital signs. Educate patients on pre- and post-op care. Document care in EHR systems like Epic. Collaborate with surgical teams for recovery plans. Manage inventoryof pre/post‑op supplies. This positionis key to surgical patient preparation and recovery.
