Job Overview for Quality Assurance Technician

The Lee Group is hiring  Quality Inspectors for a manufacturing client in  Toano, VA!In this role, you will inspect parts in the anodize department, identify defects, and ensure products meet quality standards. We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can work accurately and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

This position involves handling serialized firearm components. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to possess a firearm.

Job Responsibilities of Quality Assurance Technician

• Inspect parts for quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Handle serialized firearm components as part of the inspection process.
• Ensure inspected parts meet required quality standards.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the inspection process.
• Follow established safety, quality, and department procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications  of Quality Assurance Technician

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally eligible to possess a firearm due to job duties involving serialized firearm components.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures accurately.
• Ability to work consistently and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled 2nd or 3rd shift.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Quality Assurance Technician

• Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• May be exposed to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise, machinery, and production materials.
• Position requires extended periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely handle and inspect production parts throughout the shift.
• Must be able to perform repetitive inspection tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Pay: $17.00/hour ($16.00 base pay + $1.00 shift differential)

3rd Shift: 11:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay: $18.00/hour ($16.00 base pay + $2.00 shift differential)
