Packaging Operator – 1st ShiftShift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $18.00/hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support material handling, packaging, and inventory accuracy within a warehouse and production environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring incoming materials and outgoing finished products are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely.Position Summary: The Packaging Operator is responsible for the movement of incoming materials and outgoing finished goods, as well as material flow throughout the warehouse. This role supports production by ensuring materials are properly packaged, labeled, stored, and documented.Essential Responsibilities:Load and unload materials onto spooling and drumming equipment as directedPackage finished products according to specificationsComplete all required inventory, packaging, and shipping documentationStock materials according to warehouse layout and storage requirementsPrint and apply labels; verify accuracy of labels and packagingInspect outgoing products for accuracy, proper labeling, and packagingReceive and visually inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damageNotify supervisor of any discrepancies or quality issuesPerform physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracyConsistently follow 5S practices, safety, and environmental proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentBe flexible and willing to cross-train in other areas as neededRequirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedlyHigh school diploma or equivalent0–3 years of warehouse or packaging experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic to intermediate Microsoft Office skillsGood communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentDependable with strong attendanceWork Environment:Warehouse and production settingTeam-oriented, safety-focused culture
