Veterinary Technician Supervisor - Internal Medicine

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a passionate Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help lead our Internal Medicine department in Cary, NC!

Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

As Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will:

• Serveas a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge. 

• Coachteam members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. 

• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings. 

• Organize training schedules for Technician staff. 

• Identifyconflicts in the workplace andseekassistance in resolution.

• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans. 

• Other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience

• 2+ years of leadership experience

• RVT or VTS preferred, but not mandatory
