Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Overview Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery (Travel) in Wolf Point, Montana. This travel assignment is a hospital-based role starting 08/17/2026 for approximately 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a 3x12 Night shift. The RN will cover Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery with a 50/50 split, with potential floating to other units as needed. This assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery units, with a 50/50 split between the two services.
• Monitor maternal status and fetal well-being, administer medications, and support labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Perform routine and complex assessments, document findings, and collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, implement rapid interventions, and ensure patient safety and infection control practices.
• Float to other departments as needed to maintain staffing coverage and department flow; participate in handoffs at shift change.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; professional state license submission required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in Labor & Delivery is highly encouraged; Med/Surg experience acceptable
• Ability to float to other departments as needed
• Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE are encouraged
