Athletic Director / Head Boys Coach / Junior High Social Studies & Science Teacher

Wilson Independent School District is seeking a motivated, student-centered professional to serve as Athletic Director, Head Boys Coach, and Junior High Social Studies & Science Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an energetic leader who is passionate about developing successful student-athletes, building strong athletic programs, and creating positive relationships with students, staff, and the community. Position Responsibilities Lead and oversee the district athletic program Serve as Head Boys Coach and coordinate boys athletic programs Coordinate junior high and high school athletic schedules, travel, and program organization Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and student success Teach Junior High Social Studies and Science courses Create engaging, standards-based lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment Monitor student academic progress and UIL eligibility Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration Assist with UIL and extracurricular activities as assigned Qualifications Valid Texas Teaching Certificate Appropriate coaching certifications/credentials Strong classroom management and leadership skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and families CDL certification preferred or willingness to obtain Why Wilson ISD?
