Worker for Cleaning

Join our team in the Far Eastside near Northeastwood, Indiana, as a Cleaning Worker.

This essential position helps maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our food production plant.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize completely the machinery and food production tools after each production cycle.
• Sweep, mop, and keep clean the production areas and surfaces.
• Handle the disposal of trash and recycling correctly.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely following all safety protocols.
• Perform deep cleaning, focusing on hard-to-reach areas within the plant.
• Carry out regular sanitation inspections to help maintain our cleanliness standards and create a healthier environment.
• Report immediately any hygiene problems or potential risks to management.
• Strictly follow all company sanitation norms and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

• Commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding work.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and materials is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation instructions.
• Previous sanitation experience within a food production environment is an advantage, but not required.
• Must have own transportation.

First and second shift: $16.75 per hour

Third shift 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM: $17.75 per hour
