OPERATING ROOM MANAGERJOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Manager to lead surgical services operations, staff, and daily workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES✓ Supervise, hire, train, and support nurses, surgical techs, and other personnel
✓ Coordinate daily surgical room assignments and optimize workflow
✓ Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, supplies, and resource allocation
✓ Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
✓ Maintain infection control and sterile processing standards
✓ Promote efficient, high-quality surgical operations
✓ Minimum 3 years of Operating Room Manager experience – Required
✓ Current BLS certification through AHA
✓ Active Michigan license required at time of submission
✓ Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills
