We are willing to provide complete training for this opportunity!The Antifreeze Sales and Service Rep (AFSR) will be responsible for applying sales strategies in an effort to grow HCC's antifreeze business at new and existing customer sites. The AFSR will also be responsible for performing HCC services at customer facilities. Service responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: handling of pump hoses, pumping of antifreeze containers, and operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle on a daily basis. This position may also require the picking up of waste drums of varying sizes and weights using HCC-approved material handling equipment.Specific duties include:Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all HCC safety guidelinesResponsible for customer service and new business development in a certain geographic area as assigned by the CompanyAligns work orders to minimize mileage and travel timeInspects vehicle and equipment for safe operationServices existing customers by delivering varying types of new antifreeze, recycled, collecting used antifreeze, and related tasksPursues additional services with existing accountsAssesses potential customer needs, presents HCC products and services to customers, and develops new customersDevelops sales leads for Data-MarketingComplete all required paperwork accurately and neatlyMaintains compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirementsAchieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer developmentAdhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenancePerforms other related duties as assignedPosition qualification requirements include:Strong communication skills and attention to detailAbility to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departmentsAbility to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, all truck equipment, etc.Work experience highly preferred:Route sales experienceEducation, certificates, licenses, or designations:High School diploma or equivalent requiredMust have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMATMotor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds HCC's published standards including, but not limited to the following:Seat belt and cell phone violationsExcessive speedingDUI, suspension and/or multiple vehicle collisionsPersonal protective equipment:Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hatsPhysical requirements:Frequent lifting of standard hose from the ground to the tank weighing up to 40lbs.Occasionally climbing company approved step stool to access Anti-Freeze containersOccasionally pulling/dragging hoses out of truck up to 100ft at a time (10-40lbs)Pushing/pulling hand trucks or jacks to move product in and out of trucksAll applicants must pass the pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screeningWork environment:While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, drive frequently, and comfortably use electronic devices and other office equipment.
