Software Test Engineer

Overview We are seeking an ATE Software Test Engineer to support, maintain, and improve automated test systems used for product validation and quality testing. This role sits within the Quality organization and is focused on improving objectivity, consistency, and efficiency across validation and test processes. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will bring strong hands‑on LabVIEW experience, preferably 6+ years, along with experience developing, supporting, or improving automated test systems in a structured manufacturing, automotive, consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive electronics, or related environment. Responsibilities Develop, support, troubleshoot, and improve automated test systems used for product validation and quality testing. Work hands‑on with LabVIEW‑based test software and automation platforms. Learn the existing internally developed automated test system and identify opportunities for improvement. Support validation activities within the Quality organization to improve objectivity and consistency in testing. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to support test system needs. Follow established SOPs, standardized work instructions, and quality processes. Contribute to automation improvements that increase efficiency, repeatability, and reliability. Support quality system initiatives, including preparation for future ISO certification. Apply structured problem‑solving and documentation practices in a quality‑focused environment. Communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and remain open to feedback, training, and collaboration. Required Qualifications Strong hands‑on LabVIEW experience. Experience developing, maintaining, or improving automated test systems. Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and test system issues. Experience working in a structured manufacturing, validation, or quality environment. Ability to follow SOPs, standardized work, and established internal processes. Strong communication, listening, and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn an existing internal system before making improvements. Professional, humble, stable, and collaborative work style. Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Tempe, Arizona. Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of LabVIEW experience. Automotive industry experience highly preferred. Familiarity with AIAG standards preferred. Experience in consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive electronics, or related industries. Basic understanding of ISO quality systems. Experience supporting automated test systems in a production, validation, or quality environment.
