Interim Principal

Overview Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary Position Type: Seasonal Travel Percentage: None $5000 Retention Bonus! As a Principal, you will oversee of all disciplines for elementary and middle school programs and daily management of student discipline and behavior management for all elementary and middle school students. You will report to the Assistant Superintendent, and you will work onsite. This position is an interim position with the potential to be a permanent position due to a potential retirement in the near future. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the school Responsible for all compliance issues to the NYS Education Department, NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH), NYS Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS), and the Justice Center Oversee the overall curriculum and instructional programs Ensure that all classroom coverage meets required ratios of teachers, teacher assistants, and other support staff Supervise the administrative team to help teachers and support staff to manage student behavior, and deliver a quality instructional program Lead, facilitate, and participate in agency, school, community, and multi-school meetings as required Lead efforts with building leadership team to insure budget utilization requirements are met Directly supervise and evaluate members of the building leadership team and other school teachers and staff as assigned Provide building leadership for all Agency and School Initiatives, Policies, Regulations, and Procedures as they relate to students and staff Actively participate in Northern Rivers Senior Management Team meetings Requirements and Education A Master's degree At least five to seven years' related experience School Administrator certificate required Benefits Health care package: medical, dental, and vision Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Holiday Pay 401 (K) plan Life Insurance Loan repayment assistance Free training/CEU opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
