Enrollment Specialist

We are seeking dedicated problem-solvers to join a leading health plan organization in Sacramento. If you have a passion for accuracy and enjoy helping members navigate their healthcare eligibility, this onsite role is a perfect fit.   Responsibilities: Process new enrollments, terminations, demographic updates, and PCP changes within enrollment databases. Verify eligibility status, reconcile data discrepancies, and submit retroactive eligibility changes. Generate member correspondence, respond to inquiries, and process duplicate ID card requests. Communicate with brokers, vendors, Member Services, and internal teams to resolve file issues. Maintain PHI confidentiality, support data audits, and assist with annual enrollment readiness. Requirements & Skills: High School diploma or equivalent education. 1+ year of recent experience in health plan enrollment, eligibility, insurance, or healthcare operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management. Preferred familiarity with DMHC regulations, managed care, reimbursement models, and FSA file layouts.analytical, time management, negotiation, and project coordination skills.

salary: $25.59 - $25.6 per hour
