Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in understanding and diagnosing surgical conditions through review of imaging studies and lab findings
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and transferring surgical instruments during operations
• Offer excellent pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge coordination, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
