Produce Clerk

Description

Produce Clerks are responsible for providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked produce department. This position helps ensure fresh, high-quality products are properly displayed and available for customers while supporting department operations and food safety standards.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Provide efficient, courteous, and friendly customer service at all times in support of the company. Maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork, flexibility, and a fun working environment. Rotate merchandise regularly to ensure freshness and product quality.
Clean and maintain the produce department according to company standards.
Assist with unloading delivery trucks and breaking down produce shipments.
Follow all company food safety and sanitation procedures.
Keep workstations, prep areas, coolers, and surrounding areas neat and clean.
Properly dispose of trash, boxes, and spoiled product.
Maintain attractive, organized, and fully stocked displays throughout the department. Ability to work in refrigerated environments and lift/move produce and boxes as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
