Job Description

Position Title: Receptionist

Wage: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:45am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Our client, a leading aggregate rock company, is seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Office Assistant/Receptionist to provide vacation coverage at their regional office located on the quarry property. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, providing excellent customer service, and supporting daily administrative operations. This is a temporary position expected to run July 20th through July 31st.


Receptionist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Professionally answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Greet visitors and provide courteous, professional customer service.
- Assist with customer order processing and related paperwork.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support office staff.
- Organize files, documents, and office tasks to maintain efficient daily operations.
- Accurately enter data and maintain records.
- Communicate effectively with office personnel and customers.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Receptionist Requirements:
- Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a busy office environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently while supporting a team.
