12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights (36/48-hour rotation)
$59/hr
A reputable healthcare facility located in Shiprock, NM, dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients is looking for a Wound Care RN with expertise in wound care to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatments for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, dressing changes, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in wound care management.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
- BLS certification required
- Current Wound Care Certification from an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in professional nursing care
- Proficiency in various wound and ostomy treatments
- Background in a clinic setting with a focus on adult care and chronic medical conditions
- Ability to recognize and respond promptly to signs of emergency situations
