Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong emphasis on Python programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-20 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to write unit tests and perform debugging.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Python.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
