Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Unit Details 42-bed NICU 1:2 or 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio Administers vasopressors, sedation, and glucose Patient population: Premature infants, respiratory distress/failure, hypoglycemia, and other high-risk neonates May float to General Pediatrics and PICU On-Call: None Weekend: Every 3rd or 4th weekend, including holiday rotation Requirements 24 months of NICU experience (Required) Active Iowa RN License (Compact accepted) BLS (AHA/ARC) – Required NRP – Required Experience with vasopressors, sedation, and glucose management If you have any concerns or preferences regarding shifts, weekly pay, or location, please let me know.
