This position ensures the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects that align with college goals. Responsibilities include leading project development phases, from conception to completion, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The role leads project management for administrative services, facilities, programs, and capital projects, supports the Administrative Services team, coordinates resources, and manages stakeholder expectations. The position is fully in–person. Essential Functions Collaborate with the Administrative Services team and stakeholders to lead multiple administrative services, facilities, program, and capital projects, developing work teams, scopes, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables; create and maintain comprehensive project timelines and expense tracking. Develop and coordinate college environmental and occupational regulatory compliance for hazardous waste, chemical management, emergency preparedness, and related training; perform research, compile, analyze, and summarize data; coordinate with key stakeholders on compliance, safety, and capital projects. Maintain working relationships with staff, vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders; when assigned supervision, plan, organize, supervise, and assign work of others; administer reports, proposals, and program outcomes; troubleshoot issues and provide project team management to meet goals. Represent project strategies and communication plans, establish goals and outcomes; independently respond on behalf of the department to issues or concerns while working closely with department leadership; perform other duties as assigned at the grade level. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of full‑time equivalent experience providing journey‑level project management coordination and assistance, including preparing reports, maintaining records, tracking budgets, performing research, and assisting with project communication. Equivalent combinations of education and experience per law are acceptable. Desired Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in project management or related experience in education or government environment. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading administrative services, facilities, or capital projects across multiple, concurrent projects. Experience with $10 million or more projects in construction, renovations, or remodels. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience supervising employees. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data to support planning and decision‑making, with familiarity with public sector procurement practices. One year of full‑time, relevant MCCCD experience within the previous two years. Special Working Conditions Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D driver’s license is required; must meet minimum driving standards.
