Technology Support Specialist

Customer service is the top priority of this position. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, takes ownership of problems, and can adapt to the needs of different employees and work environments. As a Technology Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on technology support while working closely with the IT Support Team and broader IT Teams. You will also help employees adopt and effectively use company technology, including new tools and improvements. Extensive IT experience is not required. A genuine interest in technology, willingness to learn, and commitment to helping others are more important.

Job Duties

• Provide friendly, professional, and responsive onsite technology support.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and take ownership of requests through resolution.
• Build relationships with employees and adapt support to their individual and departmental needs.
• Assist with computers, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and other workplace technology.
• Support employee technology setup, equipment deployment, and onboarding.
• Help implement company technology, tools, and improvements at supported locations.
• Teach employees how to effectively use company technology and clearly communicate changes.
• Proactively identify technology needs and opportunities to improve the employee experience.
• Work collaboratively with the IT Support Team and broader IT Teams.
• Regularly participate with the broader IT Teams in meetings, culture gatherings, team activities, and other in-person events.
• Travel between Redmond Minerals (Main), Western Clay, and surrounding company locations and job sites.
• Follow company and site safety requirements and maintain all required MSHA training.
