Operations Supervisor Department: Guest Services Employment Type: Seasonal - Full Time Location: Ketchikan Transportation & Guest Services Description Service Excellence. Performance. Integrity. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises a transportation services team and the transportation services activities. Responsible for scheduling transportation services activities and operations. Routinely applies knowledge of our operations, Company product and customer services to assist the team with routine questions. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations. REQUIREMENTS Current, valid driver's license, with three (3) years clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested. Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements. Current, valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B with an air brake endorsement is required. (May be obtained through Company training course.) Must be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen. You will also be entered into our random drug testing program. Minimum age of 21 is required for your CDL. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Proficiency in the use of computer business applications. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, maintain an attention to detail, multitask, provide excellent customer service while working in a team or group environment. Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written, with customers, employees, and management. Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
