You will be detail‑oriented with a strong understanding of merchandising principles and freight operations, and a motivational leader who inspires and empowers your team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Profitability Support company programs to maximize revenue and achieve store goals. Ensure the store runs smoothly in the absence of the Store Team Leader, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Reconcile daily funds according to store closing procedures. Backroom Efficiency Lead and support an efficient freight flow process, maintain a well‑organized backroom, and achieve a 24‑hour freight turnaround. Leverage technology to maximize scheduling effectiveness for freight management. Inventory Management Partner with the Store Team Leader to maintain optimal inventory levels. Ensure proper merchandising and product placement. Merchandising and Freight Management Lead timely and accurate placement of products on the sales floor, ensuring compliance with merchandising standards. Collaborate to develop and implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and optimize inventory turnover. Monitor, lead, and assist with freight flow to receive, process, and stock products efficiently. Coordinate the receiving team to ensure accurate receipt and inspection of merchandise. Identify and address product shortages or overstocks. Foster a Collaborative Team Recruit, train, and develop store associates. Identify and nurture high‑potential associates for future growth. Create a stable, knowledgeable team environment where associates feel valued and empowered to succeed. Championing a Positive Store Culture Ensure the store exceeds standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and overall presentation. Lead by example, ensuring all operations, merchandising, and visual aspects comply with company policies. Cultivate positive relationships with leadership, associates, and field management. Customer Service Champion Monitor and maintain exceptional customer service, exceeding company and customer expectations. Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards. Leveraging Technology Support HCM processes (associate data, time‑keeping, benefits, LMS) for efficient associate development. Maintain Oracle systems to manage store expenses. Review Domo Store Spotlight technology to meet productivity goals and seize opportunities. Use Thinktime daily to maximize efficiency for all store communications. Utilize mobile devices for technology support and operational expectations. Qualifications 4+ years of retail management experience, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred Experience Proficient with Google Workspace (Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets). Experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools. Work Environment Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Long periods of standing, moving, and positioning are required throughout the shift. The conditions for performing all job functions will vary according to store location, including sales area, stockroom/receiving area, and office area, each with possible temperature, dust, and accessibility differences.
