Step into Your New Role We are currently seeking a full-time Civil / Municipal Engineer. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare detailed technical engineering reports. Prepare ormodifyplans, specifications, construction schedules, permits, andcost and quantity estimatesfor public worksprojects. WorkwithConstructionObservers/ResidentTechniciansduringallfacetsofconstruction. Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule. Clientcontactincludingattendanceatboard orcouncilmeetings.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required. Minimum10yearsofcivilengineeringdesignexperiencepreferred/desired. Illinois PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred. Previousroadway,stormsewer,sanitarycollectionsewersandwaterdistributiondesignexperiencedesired. Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsrequired. Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
