Want to become a Dough Master? No experience required. We'll teach you.

Woodward Pizza is looking for a new team member to join our AM Kitchen Prep & Dough Team.

You don't need restaurant or kitchen experience. You just need to be dependable, willing to learn, ready to work, and care about doing things the right way. We'll teach you the rest.

You'll learn how to make our signature Detroit-style pizza dough from scratch, prep fresh produce, and make the sauces, dressings, and other recipes we make in-house.

There's a lot that has to happen before the first pizza hits the oven. You'll be part of the crew that makes it happen.

And yes, we'll feed you every shift. Consider it quality control.

What You'll Do

• Make our Detroit-style pizza dough from scratch
• Prep vegetables and other ingredients for service
• Make sauces, dressings, and other Woodward recipes in-house
• Portion and organize ingredients for the kitchen
• Help receive and put away truck deliveries
• Help with inventory and keeping prep levels where they need to be
• Jump on the line and help make orders for dine-in, takeout, and delivery when needed
• Keep your prep area and the kitchen clean and organized
• Wash, clean, sanitize, and put things back where they belong because making the mess is only half the job
• Work with the rest of the kitchen team to make sure we're ready when the doors open and the orders start coming

Who We're Looking For

Experience isn't the important part. Reliability is.

We're looking for someone who:

• Shows up when they're scheduled and shows up on time
• Is willing to learn and take direction
• Can work with a sense of urgency
• Pays attention to details and follows recipes
• Doesn't need to be reminded that cleaning is part of working in a kitchen
• Can work independently but knows they're part of a team
• Takes some pride in making things the right way

Never Worked in a Kitchen?

That's okay.

We'll teach you how to make our dough, prep ingredients, follow our recipes, use our equipment, and work safely in a commercial kitchen.

What we can't teach nearly as easily is showing up, caring, and wanting to get better.

Bring those. We'll handle the pizza part.

If you want to learn more, we'll give you the opportunity to cross-train in other areas of the restaurant. From there, team members can grow into trainers, Shift Leads, and management positions.

You don't have to know where you want to end up on day one. You just have to be willing to learn.
