This posting is a pipeline opportunity and is not tied to a specific open role.We're seeking experienced professionals with backgrounds in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Governance, Data Management, and related disciplines.We offer W2 employment for consultants located in Washington State and can also partner with professionals through 1099 and/or LLC engagements.Please note:As part of our proactive talent pipeline strategy, we often engage with candidates before a specific client need exists. While we may not have an immediate opportunity that aligns with your background, qualified candidates may be considered for future engagements as they become available.For most of our Business Analyst engagements, we typically partner with clients based in Washington state where a form of hybrid work may be involved. Consultants must be willing to support evolving client requirements, including onsite collaboration or return-to-office expectations when applicable. AG Consulting Partners will provide as much advance notice as possible regarding any changes to work location requirements.As a Business Analyst Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:Documenting data relationships and write basic SQL statementsImplementing and managing standard testing procedures for system changesFacilitating requirement sessions with team members and building comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability of requestsFacilitating user acceptance testing, documenting the test results, and helping procure business approvalsWorking with business owners/SMEs to understand automation opportunities and analyze them to identify process changes that need to happenPerforming root cause analysis to identify solutions that address the true source of issuesActively participating in project phases and report status updates to the Project Manager, including feasibility, requirements, development, quality assurance (QA), implementation, and maintenanceThis job is for you if:You like helping people and don’t need to take credit for success. You can explain almost anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating in writing and meetings.RequirementsYou have: Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, business management, finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in ERP reporting tools (Workday, SAP, Oracle) A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Public Sector clients, including federal, state, or local government, and higher education institutionsExperience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholdersStrong knowledge of ERP modules and integration with reporting tools and third-party datasetsExperience communicating analytical outcomes through written communication to both business and technical teamsProven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutionsExperience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systemsKnowledge/experience with Agile methodologiesYou might also have:Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plusExperience in creating Test case scripts for regression/functional testingProven project management experience, preferably with PMP or similar certificationBenefitsAbout UsAG Consulting Partners, Inc. is a Redmond-based boutique consulting firm. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.The annual salary range for this role is: $100,000 - 140,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
