Make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school grades. You'll play a key part in helping learners succeed academically and socially, providing essential services to students from kindergarten through high school in a collaborative educational environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with students in grades K-12 preferred, especially in school settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive setting for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and write individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and advocate for appropriate accommodations
- Maintain detailed documentation of interventions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team sessions as needed
- Provide guidance and resources to educators to improve classroom communication strategies
