Description

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot SMT equipment (Fuji and similar platforms)

Perform component-level rework, including capacitors and other electronic components

Support SMT production lines and multiple pieces of equipment within the department

Assist with engineering builds and customer-driven projects

Collect data and support reporting for engineering and production efforts

Help execute test plans in partnership with engineers

Support process improvements and maintain quality standards on the floor

Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma required; Associate degree (AA/AS) preferred

3–4+ years of experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing environment (flexible based on hands-on experience)

Experience with SMT machine setup, troubleshooting, and operation

Experience with component-level rework

IPC-A-610 or J-STD certification preferred

Experience with Fuji or similar SMT equipment lines is a plus

Exposure to engineering builds, test plans, or data collection is a plus

Basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, SAP, Outlook)

Strong basic math skills (decimals, fractions, measurements)

Ability to work independently and maintain awareness of quality

Ability to train others is a plus

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.86 - $32.32/hr.
