Food Service Worker

Job Title

Help prepare and bake a variety of pizzas from prepared ingredients, selecting the correct amount of each ingredient for the pizza ordered, arranging and layering the ingredients as shown. Prepared sandwiches, including Italian sausage, meatball and submarines.

Perform tasks such as grilling hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, french fries, etc., by watching while the items are cooking, turning as required; regulating temperature and removing when done.

Package prepared food for off-premise consumption or serve for on premise consumption. Operate and use bake and holding ovens, pizza makers, slicers, fryers and miscellaneous kitchen utensils.

Ring up sales on a point of sale system and provide guest with receipts.

Maintain concept environment, equipment, utensils and surfaces in a sanitary clean and neat condition.

In food preparation or food beverage service areas: Scrapes and pre-rinses dishes, glasses and flatware for washing. Separates food waste and trash. Loads dishes into dishwasher; hand washes dishes. Stacks and stores clean dishes. Scrapes, cleans, scrubs, washes or wipes ranges, ovens, fryers and urns. Cuts, scrapes, chops, dices or peels fruit and vegetables.

Removes soiled dishes, glasses and flatware from tables and carries to the dish washing area.

Cleans tables or paper, other trash or soiled linens and wipes table clean.

Performs other duties as assigned.
