Cheesemonger

We're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, artistic, efficient Charcuterie & Cheese Board Artist and Cheesemonger to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be arranging beautiful boards (with some guidelines), slicing and wrapping cheeses and cured meats to order, educating customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with cheese selection by offering thoughtful recommendations and samples
• Cut, wrap, and weigh cheeses to order, ensuring accuracy and care
• Prepare charcuterie boards for retail and special events, following shop standards and custom requests
• Maintain product displays, rotate inventory, and uphold food safety and sanitation practices
• Receive and stock deliveries; track inventory and minimize waste
• Share product knowledge, including milk type, origin, aging, and flavor profiles
• Uphold excellent customer service, even during busy periods
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with cheese, deli, or food prep required *** 
• Strong attention to detail, especially when cutting and plating
• Comfortable working with sharp knives and slicer, and standing for long periods
• A passion for cheese, food, and hospitality
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail setting
• Maintain strict standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• BASSET Certification (or willingness to obtain)
