IT Delivery Job

The IT Delivery job is accountable for the successful end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, programs, and portfolios. The job leads projects, programs, portfolios or leads an Agile ART or several agile teams, through the systems development life cycle from planning through hyper care, working in close partnership with IT and business leaders including executive sponsors. The work also includes leading, collaboration, coaching team members and influencing others outside their direct team to ensure the success of initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree - in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years leading Information Security or relevant work experience to include cloud
• Size of project is $500K -$1M, or up to 5 small projects at a time, teams less/25 people or less

• Led systems development methodology and infrastructure project delivery
• Ability to lead a team environment with Agile delivery values
• Experience managing multiple medium to complex projects across multiple functions including planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and satisfaction of project requirements
• Experience managing and mentoring project management staff including providing stretch opportunities and coaching to develop team and deliver results
• Proven experience successfully managing business and technical resources under an integrated project plan to ensure the alignment of resources
• Ability to take ownership for managing all aspects of project management from discovery through delivery implementation
• Experience presenting, escalating, and providing solutions to senior leadership
• Experience managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties. Proven record of focusing on building trusted relationship with those responsible for execution
• Ability to quickly assess projects at the onset for areas of risk, identify gaps and recommend areas for improvement
• Experience in change management related aspects of project execution and ability to incorporate change considerations in planning / execution of projects

Cybersecurity Framework and Key Focus Areas:

• Understanding of NIST based frameworks and how they are applied to secure information (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover)
  • Identify : Managing cybersecurity risks to systems, assets, data, and business capabilities
  • Protect : Implementing safeguards to ensure data, information and systems are protected and secure
  • Detect and Respond : Detection technology and response procedures are implemented and regularly tested to ensure timely response to cybersecurity incidents
  • Recover : Develop and implement the appropriate activities to maintain plans for resilience and to restore any capabilities or services that were impaired due to a cybersecurity event

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree
• Project Management (PMI) or Agile Certification

Specialized Skills and Technologies:

• Experience in managing large and complex technical projects
• Understanding of fundamentals of IT Architecture & Systems to deliver solutions is a must
• Experience in integrating multiple systems (logic and data) across the enterprise is required
• Functional knowledge and experience in implementing large and complex solutions either related to software, data or Infrastructure projects is required
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools is required
• Experience using Planview
• Ability to create and follow work and data flow charts is required
• Need to understand Software Development Life Cycle and various delivery methodologies like Waterfall and Agile
