Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Health Care Partners of South Carolina, a CIMS network center, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join its team! The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services at Healthcare Partners of South Carolina, Inc. The PMHNP s function is to evaluate clients on the need for
psychopharmacologic interventions and subsequently monitor clients to assess symptom
management, side effects and efficacy of prescribed medications. Upon prescribing
psychopharmacologic medications, the PMHNP will provide counseling/education to clients
regarding compliance, dosing, side effects and any other necessary education that will benefit
the client. This position requires a high degree of self-direction and the ability to work
independently. The PMHNP must possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to
collaborate and communicate effectively in a team setting and the ability to maintain
effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care
team.
