Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, occurring approximately every 6 weeks and including up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period across days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Work a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active California Registered Nurse license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
• Ability to adapt to variable start times and flexible scheduling needs
• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities
