QA Automation Engineer Austin, TX 4+ Months Job Description Our Direct Client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site QA Automation Engineer with expertise in automation testing and a strong background in software quality assurance. Responsibilities: Execute exploratory testing activities in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality software and compliance with regulatory standards. Perform complex diagnosis, test planning, documentation, and execution of manual and automated test cases. Create, design, and maintain automation test scripts, reports, and dashboards. Recommend improvements to QA and automation processes based on analysis. Maintain test documentation, policies, and application configurations. Collaborate with team members and management to develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures. Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of experience in Information Technology. 8+ years of professional QA automation testing experience. 8+ years of experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. 8+ years of experience developing and executing test plans and cases. 6+ years of experience working in Linux environments. 4+ years of programming experience in Java or similar languages. Preferred: 2+ years of experience coding automated tests using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Watir, HP ALM, Katalon, Coded UI, or Ruby. Preferred: 2+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
