Shift Type: Monday-Friday with weekend rotation, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $28-$40/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement personalized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to help patients restore mobility and independence.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, adapting approaches to meet each individual's needs.
Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates with the care team.
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
Collaborate with a supportive rehab team to deliver compassionate care in a 130-bed skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maryland
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply!

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, gait training, and transfer techniques
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to build rapport with patients and families
Teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic rehab environment
