Unit Overview
Join a Neuro Trauma Stepdown/Acute Care Neurology unit managing a high-acuity neuro patient population. Primary cases include stroke, seizures, and traumatic brain injuries, with occasional medical and surgical overflow.

• Patient Ratio: 1:3 – 1:5
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Responsibilities

• Provide stepdown-level care for neurological patients
• Monitor and manage acute neuro conditions (stroke, TBI, seizure disorders)
• Perform continuous assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and interventions per protocol

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown/Neuro experience
• Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Strong neuro assessment and critical thinking skills
