Job Skills / Requirements This is an on-call/flex position and provides coverage for absences and additional cleaning for Grand Haven Area Public Schools. The role is a great fit for anyone looking for flexible evening work. Responsibilities of School Custodian/Janitor:
Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
Hiring for part-time (P/T) : 1st Shift (Days) - P/T is 11:00am to 2:00pm 2nd Shift (Evenings) - P/T is 4:00pm to 8:00pm or 6:00pm to 10:00pm Additional Information / Benefits Benefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays This is a Part-Time position 1st Shift , 2nd Shift .
- Follow all company and facility cleaning procedures
- Clean, sanitize and restock restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash and recyclable receptacles
- Clean and disinfect hard surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Clean interior windows/doors
- Report maintenance issues, supply needs and other concerns to a Team Lead or Manager
- No Experience, No Problem!
- Dependable and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK & FINGERPRINTING
