Software Test EngineerPayrate: $49.00 - $50.00/hr. Summary: This position contributes to the work group by defining and documenting test cases, providing feedback to the development team on test results, and advising on software design for testability. The role is an addition to assist the development team with automated testing. The team develops an Operator Monitoring System focused on Operator safety features, working directly with a software team to deliver high-quality software on challenging timelines.ResponsibilitiesWork with the development team to understand the requirements.Attend daily standups with the team.Test software and document results.Develop automated test scripts.Participate in story and feature refinement meetings.Discuss software design choices with the Software Architect.Daily interaction with development and systems team members to understand software requirements and design decisions.Review test results and provide input on design direction.Qualifications8-10 years of experience.Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or software development discipline.Open to Associates degree with 12 years of experience. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
