Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager leads the Field Management team by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines required to meet short‑term goals and objectives. The role is responsible for the success of each team member and typically manages the work efforts of supervisors and individual contributors. Key Responsibilities Implement organizational policies and goals in conjunction with the General Manager Coordinate activities of service departments such as Sales, Maintenance, Installation, etc. to drive operational efficiency Assist with leading a successful Sales Team Assist with budget analysis and setting profitability goals Help ensure payroll processes are accurate and on time Train and monitor Customer Service Specialists on booking rates, call volumes, and service levels Manage dispatchers and technician scheduling to maximize call volume and capacity Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental processes are followed Analyze customer satisfaction feedback and follow up appropriately Support the General Manager on sales goal planning and tracking Help develop ongoing performance feedback and counseling for employees Adhere to HR standards and guidelines on reviews, counseling, and discipline Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations or related field 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, including sales, installation, and service Supervisory experience required Excellent customer service and communication abilities Strong technical troubleshooting skills Valid driver’s license Minimum Experience: 6+ Years Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Benefits Competitive Pay with incentive opportunities Paid Time Off and Company Holiday Pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance programs 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company matching contributions Life Insurance and disability insurance options Supplemental benefit programs World‑Class Training opportunities through our Experts University Career Development opportunities EEO Statement Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is an equal opportunity employer.
